MAW: Terms of Use

Last updated: July 14, 2026

These terms apply to the MAW iPhone app. By using the app, you agree to them. Where these terms are silent, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.

MAW is a fitness game, not a medical product. The app offers guided oral- and facial-muscle exercises presented as a game. It does not provide medical advice and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. It is not a substitute for care from a doctor, dentist, or myofunctional therapist. If you have a medical or dental condition, or feel pain or discomfort during any exercise, stop and consult a professional.

Honest tracking, honest limits

The app uses the front camera to detect visible facial movement during exercises. Some exercises are camera-verified; others are guided holds where the app keeps time while you perform the movement. The app labels which is which and never pretends to measure what it can't see.

Acceptable use

The app is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use on Apple devices you own or control. Don't copy, modify, resell, or reverse-engineer the app or its content.

No warranties; limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms; material changes appear on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
